Presentation
Fictional Outcomes Reporting: The "Back Story" of the North Carolina Medicaid PCMH and other Demonstrably Invalid Outcomes
Finally, a presentation that "does the math": The $300 million in savings through PCMH claimed by North Carolina Medicaid turn out to directly contradict the actual data, which (until now) was suppressed and which shows a cost increase. This presentation will also reveal other examples of mathematically impossible outcomes, and show how you, as a lay person, can distinguish fact from fiction through Critical Outcomes Report Analysis.
Al Lewis
President, Disease Management Purchasing Consortium International, Inc., Waltham, MA (Preconference Chair)
|
|
9:15 a.m. |
Interactive Workshop: Case Studies in Identifying Invalid Outcomes
The group will divide into teams and be given several case studies, and work together to find the invalidities, and then "report out" on what they found.
Guarantee: Anyone who at the end of these two hours does not dramatically more confident in their ability to critically analyze outcomes reports receives a free follow-up private syllabus and tutorial, normally costing $500.
